Part 2
Stemming from my interest in photography was the collecting of old cameras. At one time the collection stood at around five hundred items, mainly cameras. They ranged from “Wood and Brass” bellows cameras like the “Houghton Triple Victo” with examples through the years including a Leica or two to fairly modern types like the “Olympus Ecru”. I always tried to include the oddities in my collection.
Unfortunately due to a recent move and space limitations most of the collection has been sold and I now have just a few pieces which are of special interest to me, including the camera that started it all, a Kodak Hawkette No. 2 from the 1930’s. My main interest was in collecting the British manufacturers models. I have included photos of some of the collection, as was, in "Old Cameras" under the "Galleries" heading.
Building and flying of radio control model aeroplanes is another interest of mine and I belong to the Cambridge Model Aircraft Club. This takes up quite a lot of my time and I am the official photographer to the club. Taking photos of members models for them, and to put onto the clubs website.
At the moment all images are to view only but I may consider the inclusion of the means to purchase images from this site directly in the future if there is any demand. You may express your interest in the possible purchase of images through the contact page. Other comments are welcome but please try to keep them clean.
